She was delighted with it, it's a really beautiful tactile little knife and the pouch adds extra quality.

The Escort is the ultimate in basic everyday utility knives. Its small size is so easy to carry in your pocket or key chain, and has tons of everyday uses. Because of its very modest price I have a few of these that I store in each of my cars, office desk, and key chain. Love this little knife!!

Simple yet versatile!

I have given this knife an overall score of 5 stars yet some of the features I have only given 4 stars, but please don't let that put you off thinking about this knife so here is my reasoning for the scores.

The knife blade quality, sharpness and price are all very good and that alone makes this little knife worthy of the 5 star rating, where it is lacking is the usability due to it's small size. At best I can only get 2 fingers and a thumb on the handle when using the knife, this makes it less than perfect but this is not in itself a reason to not buy the knife. As an emergency / keyring knife it is much more than useful and compact, the roundness of the handle and ends means you won't injure yourself when sitting which is a good thing especially for men.

I haven't found much need for the nail file but I have used it a few times to take the burrs off of car parts during maintenance in tricky areas and the screwdriver has only come in handy once when I needed to pry the lid off a fuse box in the car. The tweezers and toothpick are both very useful and have worked perfectly in removing metal splinters from my fingers and bits of meat and fruit skin from my teeth.

Like I wrote as a keyring / emergency knife this does a more than an adequate job and you could do a lot worse for the money.
