I like this nice tool, but never take it on a plane. In Security Control they might remove it. In immigration to India they removed it from my bag and throwed it away. Not allowed.

Not for air travel

I have wanted one of these since a friend showed me theirs. It is a really useful and compact system. I’ve had problems with small knives and accessories in a key ring size, which eventually fell apart. So this is absolutely perfect, and also attractive.

Swiss Card Classic

Dans mon porte carte Victorinox par ailleurs et ne me quitte jamais quotidiennement.

Swiss Card

Unless kept in pristine condition, the durability of one of these in a wallet, where a card should be kept, was negligible. A wallet that is in constant use warps and has pressure put on it, something the plastic casing did not fully account for in the first generation.

I should say I have not bought the current generation of Card Swiss Army knife, but plan on stress testing the latest generation (and will update the review accordingly).

I bought one of these years ago for my wife.  She says it is the best present she ever had.  It is robust, all the pieces are still there and working, storing the tools neatly in a compact space.  It lives in her "carry everywhere and use all the time" handbag.

How did I feel when I first opened this gift? Perplexed?  Bamboozled? Flummoxed? Absolutely! But within a few hours I realised just what I'd been missing. What I donut, only went and locked myself out on Christmas Day didn't I! Thankfully I had this trusty widget to hand and used it to pick the lock with ease. I'm forever indebted to Victorinox for this Christmas miracle!

Excellent et bon état pour sa forme

This is a wonderful tool. I grew up in Switzerland, and I remembered having one of these as a kid. I ordered one for my wallet, and it is very nearly the perfect wallet accessory. The only two downfalls, in my opinion, is that it does not have a bottle opener (I normally use my teeth), and it is a little bit too thick. I have a large wallet and a card holder. I keep this in my wallet because it is too thick for the card holder. It ads some serious bulk to the wallet as well.

If you want to buy this for your wallet, you have to be comfortable with the thickness. Other than that, the price is fine (a little expensive, but so is everything else from Switzerland) and the design is great.

Very nearly perfect

Picked up one of these to keep in my travel bag and couldn't be happier. Everything you could need and all in one slim case. Vey well designed!

Smart und vielseitig

I have carried the original one in Black for 10-15 years until TSA in the USA took the knife and Mexican version of TSA took the scissors. I used mine at least 2-3X a day and could not live without one. I will be glad to have one back in my wallet.

Couldn't live without it

I liked this Swiss card as it offers a very complete set of tools that remind me of my Executive pocket knife.  Although is is a wallet card, my Swiss Card case broke from carrying my wallet in my back pocket.  Unfortunately, there are no replacement cases..

I glued the case with CA and it is still holding!  But I rather use a regular picket knife than the card due to its fragility

Great wallet size pocket knife

Only a couple days ago, I was on a train with an unwritten card for mothers day. No pen on me, mother meeting me at the station any minute. Swisscard to the rescue! There is no function that I have not used.
You will be surprised on the amount of times YOU will use this credit card sized tool. Quality materials used as usual.

I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do.

This beautifully crafted accessory is immensely useful and so easily carried that it a joy to have to hand, for a myriad needs. A wonderful Gift for any occasion and entirely suitable for simply anyone !

A Must-Have for men and women alike !

durchaus brauchbar

fine, the knife isn't super sturdy and you won't skin a bear with it, but it's just what you actually need on a daily basis - opening letters and parcels, cutting string. 
The scissors are great, I've used the file countless times too. The only thing I've never used at all is a pen, because a good pen is part of my EDC anyway. 
Actually got the first one as a gift, and thought it was a joke, turns out it's an AWESOME tool. 
As it's very cheap, you can easily replace it should it go lost. The build quality is adequate considering the price (I HAVE broken two of them actually).

turns out - it's excellent!

I keep it in my wallet. A brilliant piece of engineering, I've used every tool but the toothpick. Occasionally I don't have a knife on me. But th n there's a loos screw, a hangnail, something to be cut, something to be scraped, pinned or the perennial question: 'do you have a pen?'  

It's light, thin, convenient and is my other EDC.

Your emergency tool when you don't have a knife on you

Great little card to leave in my travel bag. The best thing of all is there is no problem to take it on planes. The blades are short, airport security have never stopped me.  Great for emergency "nail cutting" etc

Die Swisscard sollte eigentlich jeder haben. Sie ist die ideale Ergänzung für den Geldbeutel. Da sie kaum Platz einnimmt, passt sie quasi in jeden Geldbeutel!
Sie kommt bei mir regelmäßig zum Einsatz, egal ob man kurz nen Kugelschreiber, Nagelfeile oder Schere, etc. benötigt! 
Diese Swisscard will ich gar nicht mehr missen!

Vengo del mundo de las navajas suizas para aventura en el campo y montaña y ha llegado a mis manos esta SwissCard y más contento no puedo estar.
Me ha gustado que dispone de un pequeño cuchillo y tijeras, pero el enfoque es hacia el despacho o alguien que no está volcado en la vida al aire libre.
Echo en falta otras herramientas como silbato de emergencia, un encendedor (un fire starter), una brújula o quizás un abre botellas.
El plástico no tiene la mejor calidad.
Si están pensando en un regalo, no se van a arrepentir!

Kurz und knapp. Die Swiss Card ist meiner Meinung nach die sinnvollste Karte, die ich in meinem Portemonnaie finden kann. Ich finde das Produkt sehr gelungen, da man seine Geldbörse täglich bei sich trägt und so noch um weitere Funktionen ergänzen kann. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Taschenmesser in Kartenformat

Le swiss card est plus pratique que le couteau car il a des graduations et on utilise les outils séparément ce qui n'est pas le cas de ce dernier . Elle peut aussi rentrer facilement dans un porte feuille. Il aurait été bien d'avoir un porte clés comme le couteau .

I bought one of these Swiss cards on a vacation in Ireland. It is obviously not a heavy use tool, or a camping knife, but it's great for travel. After around two years the protractor snapped off, and the small pin always seems to vanish, but besides that the tool remains in functional condition. Good quality steel as always, the scissors and blade came razor sharp. This is close to the ideal traveling knife. If only somebody added a corkscrew.

Good travel knife

I had an older Swiss Army card, and everyone I show it to loves the weight and all the tools. I decided to buy one for my girlfriend and ended up buying two. One for her and one for me. It's so nice to have something in my wallet that is so functional.

I would recommend this to everyone.

Love the light weight

I had 4 swisscards so far, very good tools. But all began to fell apart after about 1 year. i keep it in my wallet but i wear my wallet in my front pocket so i dont stand on it. if it were made out of a better plastic or even alox it would be a perfect tool for edc.

Very good tool but poor plastic

I have had two swisscards- it's probably my most used knife.
Always at hand, the card is surprisingly well equipped.
I think the scissors are the most used component, but the pen is a close second.
The size allows it to reside in my wallet, only leaving for air travel.

Great for the pocket

I treated myself to one of these over 15 years ago, it travels with me everywhere, and has got me out of trouble on more than one occasion. The blade is still very sharp, the scissors are fiddly but still very accurate, and the other items have all been used time after time. I bought one for my husband at the same time, he kept it in his wallet in the back pocket of his jeans and it didn't last even a year ~ the case does NOT like being bent, and could do with being reinforced in some way. However, I would definitely give it 10/10.

Handy pocket/handbag tool

I just had to give it a try so i bought one in ruby red, even it feels its more targeted for women i like it a lot and i always take it with me when traveling abroad as a backup if i loose my Handyman that i take with me too, but also because it doesn't look threatening to others at all when used in public, but thats only abroad.
I have a friend who is a police officer and he told me that by British laws since it has a fixed blade (non folding) it can be considered as a concealed weapon even the blade is tiny and told me better not to carry it in UK as not all officers are understanding.
So i only use it at home and on travels abroad.
Anyway its a great product, has a lot features, the scissors don't have a good grip since i cannot get my finger through the eye, but they still work great and i found it easy to use them for manicure.
I was thinking about the one with magnifying glass, but then i would have to sacrifice some tools and i use all that are in this one.
Not very good for wallet carry if you carry your wallet in the rear pocket on your trousers as this is very fragile and could break as soon as you sit down and it is not that thin so if you carry a lot of small change and many credit cards, it could be uncomfortable.
This whole swisscard can be compared to the Classic Signature 58mm keyring knife, but the Signature doesn't have a ruler with mm/inches and the stainless pin.
It is very comfortable and barely noticeable for hip pocket carry as it is very light and compact and also discreet and its there when you need it.
The blade is very sharp and great for opening letter, parcels or that annoying blister packaging and it holds well in the handle, i used it a lot and i don't fear it would break when used responsibly just don't try to pry anything with the knife.
Only one big problem again is that its unbelievably hard to get replacements parts for it in UK, the pen, toothpick, tweezers cannot be replaced from a pocket knife as they don't fit.
Even if you get those parts in UK they are very expensive and if you would loose both scissors and the blade they would cost you as much as the whole swisscard itself

I am a bit old fashioned and I still have a filofax. Okay I have an i-phone as well but still use the filofax. In the filofax I keep my Swisscard and it is useful over the years I have used everything. It's a really handy little thing.

This little card is perfect! it fits perfectly in the credit card slot in my wallet and has all the features you will need for everyday activities. i take it everywhere i go. it is smaller than it looks in the picture, but i think it is perfect sized. the pen works great, knife is extremely durable, and scissors and great. At only 30$ this is an amazing multi-tool!

I love my swisscard. It is very convenient and functional. The blade and the scissors are both well made and sharp. The pen writes good and well as all other products. The only problems I have is the toothpick feels cheap and it is as thick as 2-3 credit cards, not one. Other than that, I love and carry everywhere.

A great product

I almost always take my Swisscard with me wherever I go, even if I don't take my wallet. I am really impressed with how helpful and durable it has been.
I bought my Swisscard while on a trip, so my parents did not know that I had one. One day while my mum was sowing something and she asked me for a pair of scissors to cut the thread. Without even thinking I immediately pulled out my Swisscard and handed her the scissors. She was really impressed with how sharp the scissors were. I am definitely getting her one the next time I see a store selling Swisscards.

always helpful

I carry the SwissCard every day for work. I use it often and appreciate the variety of tools in the card. I even feel a bit uneasy if I don't have the Card with me and as a result, I have several. The Card goes everywhere I do, and does everything I need.

Can't work without it

Every woman should have this unique little tool in her purse. It's compact size is a plus and will take up no room in your wallet. Though the tools that hide easly in the swiss card may be small they will surprise you with how durable they are.

I have one Swisscard, but it's the Quattro one. It has the same functions of this (classic), except the scisors ( the Quattro has a 4 headed screwdriver in place of scisors ), but I use it everyday, because it's a very useful tool and fits almost everywhere. I recommend it for everyone!
