J’en possède un depuis des années qui est en permanence dans la poche gousset de mon pantalon et il ne se passe pas une semaine sans que n’ai recours à lui plusieurs fois pour des tâches diverses qui vont de l’ongle cassé à l’éclairage d’un trou de serrure dans une pièce sombre...

Indispensable !

Ein Messer, dass man immer dabeihaben kann. Superklein, leicht und dennoch sinnvoll. Vor allem die kleine LED (wichtig, man sollte das mit der weissen LED nehmen) macht mehr Licht, als ich dachte. Das ist vor allem Abends bei Spaziergängen im Herbst wirklich angenehm. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert :)

Wie gewohnt von Victorinx

Dieses kleine Taschenmesser kann alles, was ein Taschenmesser können soll: Brillen reparieren, Flaschen öffnen, Licht machen und schreiben. Dass es zu allem Überfluss auch noch eine scharfe Klinge, eine gute Schere und eine Nagelfeile hat, setzt dem Ganzen die Krone auf. Eines der praktischsten Messer im Sortiment. Wer Lampe und Kuli lieber mit Pinzette und Zahnstocher ersetzen will, kauft halt das Rambler. Auch ein toller Alleskönner.

Kann alles und noch mehr

There are so many choices in the 58mm pocket knifes. The SD certainly covers the basics for daily use. I carried one since 1970.  But there is more. A change in scale with either a pen, a flash light or both.

Then the Rambler gives a very useful new tool - the small Philips screw driver, bottle opener and wire stripper. 

Midnite Manager (signature lite manager) drops the tweezers and toothpick for the pen and flash light. I also ordered in spare tweezers and toothpicks, now in red, blue and black, and made a cork leather case to protect the scales in my EDC sling and to hold the extra tools and a pin. Best of all worlds. 

If a pocket torch and a full size pen are preferred  then the Rambler is the better buy.

Is this the optimum 58mm pocket knife?

This was the 3rd midnight manager that I ordered unfortunately there is no longer quality control...missing battery cover, dead battery...it appears like I was shipped a used knife....I have purchased over 20 knives and have spent over $2,000 on knives and accessories....no more

This is a good knife to keep on your keychain. It's small enough that it's not bulky in your pocket, and it has the right features for normal daily use (specifically the flashlight, pen, scissors, and bottle opener). No tweezers on this one, but for an everyday keychain pocket knife, the pen and flashlight are more useful.

Sin duda alguna, una de las mejores navajas pequeñas que se pueden utilizar en el uso diario. Esta gran navaja puede salvarte en muchas ocasiones, cuando necesites un bolígrafo, cuando quieras iluminar algun sitio, cuando necesites destapar una botella con corcholata, etc. En fin, desde mi punto de vista es de las mejores. Discreta y poderosa, lo que necesitas en el día a día.

Magnifica!

Zwar habe ich in der Freizeit ( ohne Outdoor natürlich) meistens einen "Mini-Champ" in der Hosentasche, aber wenn das Messer mal weniger auftragen (ausbeulen) soll, ist dieses Messer genial.

Cooles Kleintaschenmesser, mit allem dran, was man braucht!

Midnite Manager

The rambler/manager/midnite manager series are my favorite small-size SAKs. They have all the essential tools for light-duty cutting, grooming, and screwdriver use without the added bulk and limited extra usefulness to me added by the Minichamp. Unfortunately, this model's biggest selling point-- the flashlight, turned out to be its biggest drawback. Adding the flashlight eliminates the tweezers, which I consider a very useful tool. The flashlight handle scale is also noticeably thicker than the tweezers scale, making this model wider than the other models in the series. That said, fitting a flashlight in such a small space also comes with significant sacrifices to performance; the flashlight runs off of a single 3mm LED and is not very bright-- good for maybe reading a menu in a dimly lit restaurant or finding something dropped in the dark, but little else. The range and run time is also relatively short for prolonged use or walking outside in the dark, and the 389 watch batteries it uses are not always available and can be expensive to replace. I recommend getting the regular manager and keeping the tweezers, and getting a small, dedicated AAA keychain flashlight instead.

I have had this knife for 15+ years!
I would be absolutely lost without  this little beauty.
Not one day goes by that I reach into my pocket- grab this knife and either use the pen,knife and especially the Philips screwdriver!

i was very surprised by the brightness of the torch. it is better than all the small key ring LED torches i have had of the internet. 
all other tools are as expected, great quality and robust. don't use the pen that often. not sure if it is refillable/replaceable???

Best small pocket knife

This has got to be one of the best EDC tools for city living. I carry it on my keychain and take it everywhere as it weighs almost nothing and I use at least one of the tools everyday . The only way this could be improved is by the addition of the tweezers. I've considered the 'manager' model which has the tweezers but preferred this model with the LED and then to also carry 'Uncle Bill's silver grippers' just to keep my keychain as compact as possible.

Awesome EDC Tool

if you can do without the toothpick and the tweezers (I can, because I also always carry a larger SAK), this is the perfect small knife.

+ usefull strong flashlight (unlike the rubbish one on the 'lite' knives, like spartan and huntsman)
+ great magnetic small philips head, works also on rather large screws, I use that for work on a near-daily basis
+regular 'classic' blade and scissors, both useful
+ usable ball pen, esp. with the screw driver folded out, I also use that more often than I like to admit

- nothing really, the loss of tweezers/toothpick is more than made up for with flashlight and pen.

Simply the best keyring knife

I travel by air frequently, and cannot take this knife with me as it will be confiscated by airport security because of the small knife blade. This "knife" has all the tools I need and I can do just fine without the small blade. If the small blade is replaced with a broad screwdriver, I can take the resulting "tool collection" with me on the plane. Why has this not dawned on you sooner, and when will the Tool Collection be available?

One Tool Short of An Excellent Set of Tools

The Midnite Manager has most of the Classic features with the addition of a pen, a "cap lifter with magnetic phillips screwdriver tip and wire stripper," and the wonderful mini-white LED light. So good to have in my pocket when I get out of work in the evenings. I've had Swiss Army Knifes for decades, and this is a great addition to my collection. I bought my husband one for Christmas as well, and he loves it.

This is the classic with a couple of wonderful additions!

Simply all you may need on daily life, unless you are an electrician or something. It was just a little bit pricey in my country, otherwise, go pick this up. I recommend translucent red, it shows the inside of the tool and it is cool. I would love if there was a "SilverTech" choice, as it looks awesome on Signature Lite.

Dieses Messer ist im Wechsel mit seinen Kollgen dem "Rambler", dem "Manager" und dem Classic immer mal wieder an meinem Schlüsselbund.
Mit der kleinen Messerklinge öffne ich Briefe oder schneide Paketband zurecht, Das Kombotool mit Flaschenöffner passt auf fast alle im Alltag vorkommenden Kreuzschlitzschrauben, selbst sehr grosse. Die Verarbeitung der Spitze ist so gut und fein,der Stahl aber so hart, dass selbst sehr feine Schrauben, für die man eigentlich Uhrmacher Werkzeug bräuchte, gelöst werden können, z.B von meiner portablen Spielkonsole. Das Licht ist für notfälle oder im Kino recht nützlich, wenn man die Sitznummer sucht. Der Kuli hat schon oft meine Unterschrift ermöglicht, wenn ich keine Zeit mehr hatte einen Stift rauszukramen. Nützliches Helfer.

Possiedo numerosi coltellini Victorinox e questo è il mio ultimo acquisto. Non esco mai senza averlo con me!

With a pen, scissors and a bottle opener, it contain everything we always need to have in the pocket or attached to keychain.
