Top Messer

Après plus de 6 mois d’attente ( certainement pour revoir la conception de l’étui qui était vivement critiqué), je reçois ce solide couteau possédant une prise en main très sûre. 
Un tranchant incroyable, c’est la première fois  pour moi qu’un couteau passe le teste de la feuille de papier au déballage (mieux que mon Kabar USMC)
Qui aime la marque Victorinox se doit de posséder ce modèle qui va devenir iconique à coup sûr. 
Lors de ma prochaine rando j’aurai donc le plaisir de l’avoir avec moi

Das Venture ist das wohl beste §42a-konforme Bushcraft-Messer. Alles ist bis ins Kleinste durchdacht und extrem funktional. Dass es rasiermesserscharf und sehr schnitthaltig ist, versteht sich bei Victorinox fast schon von selbst. Noch ein Huntsman dazu in der Hosentasche und schon ist man komplett ausgerüstet und die Pro-Version oder gar das Pro-Kit erübrigen ich komplett. Ich bin begeistert und gehe fast schon davon aus, dass das Venture das letzte Bushcraft-Messer meines Lebens sein wird. Danke Victorinox und danke, Felix Immler, für dieses ganz wunderbare Arbeitsgerät, das noch dazu in sehr sozialverträglicher Optik kommt.

Das Venture von Victorinox ist ein durchweg gelungenes Messer. Es ist leicht und handlich, in extrem scharfen Zustand ausgeliefert und bewährt sich täglich bei verschiedensten Aktivitäten. Bis jetzt hat die Schärfe noch nicht gelitten.

Aber die Messerscheide ist für diese Preisklasse ein Flop. 
Ich habe ca. 15 Messer von Victorinox - also ein Fan ihrer Produkte.

Es Klappert die Messerscheide

Cannot believe with all the R&D that a half decent sheath could not of been produced, after all a Mora at 25% the cost comes with a workable safe quiet sheath, the one with the Venture is total junk it marks the handle after repeated use, makes a very Unreassuring amount of noise that is annoying and gives no faith of security-safety. 
personally i feel that the sheath should be redesigned very quickly and the 1st generation purchasers should be given a free upgrade as a mater of recourse, however we all know that will never happen as everything is manufactured for highest profits and not always the best for the consumer.
Don't purchase until they amend the not fit for purpose SHEATH.
On a plus the blade seemed sharp from the box but let down by the 10 cent useless sheath.

Very poor Sheath

Sehr schönes, handliches und schnittiges Messer. Mein erstes Projekt: ein Löffel. Und das macht richtig Spaß.   :-)

Handlich und schnittg

At first I was a little concerned about durability due to the very thin edge and tip, however after quite a bit of hard use including stuff I did just to see how the blade would hold up (like batoning and even light chopping), it really exceeded my expectations, no damage to the knife at all, and it held it’s edge really, really well. Then I resharpened it used it quite a bit more. While there are definitely a variety of scratches and scrapes in the finish of the blade, including the top where I used it to strike a ferro rod, otherwise it held up beautifully.

Like others, my problem is with the sheath. Not the rattling really, rather the difficulty putting the knife back in, which often requires 3-4 tries to get it to fit into place, especially if you are seated, etc. Otherwise would be 5 stars. While the sheath is an annoyance it is not enough to discourage me from using this amazing product!

Knife exceeds expectations; sheath could use some work

Das Messer kommt in typischer erstklassiger Victorinox-Qualität. Leider kann man das von der Messerscheide nicht sagen. Klapperig und hakelig. Messer verkantet immer wieder mal beim einstecken und klappert auch. BITTE BITTE BITTE bietet eine alternative an. Am besten eine einfache und extrem praktische, wie diejenige vom Morakniv Compagnion. Die kann man überall einfach anklippen (Hose, Gurt, Arbeitsfach, Rucksack...). Für ein leichtes Messer geradezu die ideale Trageform. Da verzichte ich gerne auf die eher unnötige "Feuer-Anblas"-Funktion. Daher nur 3 Sterne, was nützt mir das super Messer, wenn das tragen zur Qual wird. Danke und Grüsse von Bob.

Messer Top, Messerscheide Flop

This is an excellent knife. Extremely sharp. Comfortable handle. It is well suited to many tasks and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the various design aspects. The only negative is the sheath. I know Felix and others have done videos to fix the issue of the knife rattling. But why should we need an aftermarket fix done by ourselves? It’s a minor annoyance that can hopefully be remedied. Gerber and Cold Steel can make perfect sheaths so I would expect better from Victorinox. However, I won’t mark the overall score down as I’d still recommend the knife and would buy again. As I said, the knife itself is excellent and my new first choice for camping etc

Victorinox-typische Qualität was das Schneidwerkzeug angeht, da gibt es volle Punktzahl. Die Sheath hat nur das eine Problem, das das Messer darin klappert. Das ist das einzigste Manko.

A great knife on a budget! Functional and a hard working knife for all bushcraft tasks. My knife is heavily used daily for carving, battening, fire lighting and the edge holds up well with only one touch up with a stone in over two weeks. Great value compared to the ridiculous prices out there and Immler’s YouTube video are a great resource. Good website and communication and service from Victorinox. Thank you.

Das Messer liegt sehr gut in der Hand, ist führig.
Es ist kein Brecheisen! 
Das Messer klappert etwas in der Hülle, das macht mir aber nix aus und ich weiß auch nix nicht, in welcher Situation das stören könnte.

Realmente no esperaba mucho del cuchillo pero me ha sorprendido para bien, desde el mango con el gran relieve que tiene grabado, hasta el filo, algo elevado de precio pero buen cuchillo, hace una gran labor tanto en casa y más aún en el campo
