Moneyclip alox

I absolutely love this knife! It's a slightly larger version of the Classic SD without the keyring, but with a money clip (obviously). My SAK collection includes every colour of the Classic SD, including the translucent ones, and a handful of the Limited Edition's...but I would rather EDC the Money Clip over the Classic, hands down. The reason is because the slightly larger blade is better for cutting down boxes, and it also works better as a letter opener. I think the nail file is the same size but the scissors are also a tad bigger. The scissors come in handy quite often, so having the bigger scissors on this model is a bonus. I've tried various "pocket knife / money clip" combos, but I found they're usually good for securing your cash, or having usable knives, but I have yet to find a "pocket knife & money clip" combo as functional and utilitarian as this model. I'm glad Victorinox chose to make this in Alox because the Cellidor would have made the Money Clip less attractive. The scales are Alox but it's perfectly smooth, which makes it look really classy. For less than $40, I have no regrets. I plan to also buy the red and black versions to add to my collection. If you have a loved one that carries a money clip, I think he'd enjoy getting the Money Clip as a gift. For that reason (and aforementioned), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.
