A deep dive into the design logic, movement innovation and technical choices behind Concept One.
Concept One: Designed with Purpose
Deep Dive: Design and Technical Details
At the core of Concept One Solar is the Swiss Made Ronda 215 solar movement, combining light-powered efficiency with up to 8 years of battery life. Other high-performance features include double antishock protection and magnetic resistance, a curved dial in storm, a 39mm stainless steel case, anti-scratch protection on the stainless steel bezel and a changeable storm-colored rubber strap.
Concept One: The Idea
Concept One is built on a clear principle: reduce a watch to its essential functions and refine every element with purpose.
The design draws on Victorinox watchmaking codes while introducing a more refined and contemporary expression. The case and bezel geometry reinterpret familiar forms, combining clean lines with a balanced mix of brushed and polished finishes.
More than a single model, Concept One brings together new movement technologies within a design that remains clear, functional and consistent.
Clarity on the surface, complexity beneath.
Innovation That Works for You
Concept One introduces two distinct movement technologies, each selected for its performance and everyday reliability: a solar quartz movement and a mechanical automatic caliber.
The solar version, powered by the Swiss Made Ronda 215 movement, converts both natural and artificial light into energy. It delivers long-term autonomy with up to eight months of power reserve in darkness and eliminates the need for regular battery replacement. The system is designed to operate continuously, with built-in protection against overcharge and deep discharge.
The automatic version features the Swiss Made La Joux-Perret G100 movement. With a 68-hour power reserve, it offers extended autonomy and stable performance, even when not worn for several days. It reflects a focus on mechanical precision and durability.
