Ich habe dieses Messer vor etwas mehr als 20 Jahren von meinem Paten zur Firmung, als Fortführung der Familientradition dem Firmling ein vernünftiges Taschenmesser zu dem Anlass zu schenken, bekommen. 
Die Auswahl an Merkmalen ersetzt wirklich einen Werkzeugkasten, wenns drauf ankommt und man nichts anderes zur Hand hat.
Neben mittlerweile mehreren Classic SDs, einem Champ, einem Trailmaster (Bundeswehr-Ausführung) und einem Swiss Tool ist es für den schnellen Job im Haus immer noch die erste Wahl und das wird es auch noch lange bleiben, weil es trotz der großen Anzahl an Merkmalen immer noch sehr kompakt und handlich ist.
Über die Qualität und Langlebigkeit von Victorinox-Produkten muss ich - so glaube ich - kein Wort verlieren. Neben einigen vielen Kratzern vom andauernden Gebrauch abgesehen, hat mein Cyber Tool M keine Schäden, die den Gebrauchswert mindern würden. Auch Vernachlässigung in der Pflege wird nicht gleich mit Rost oder Schwergängigkeit gestraft - ganz im Gegenteil. In den 20 Jahren des Gebrauchs habe ich die Gelenke genau EIN mal geschmiert und das nagelneue Deluxe Tinker meines Sohnes geht auch nicht leichter.

Einzige negative Punkte sind die nicht nachkaufbaren Bits, von denen mir leider einer fehlt und dass das Cyber Tool M im Vergleich zu einem Deluxe Tinker, der mit Ausnahme des Schraubendrehers mit Wechselbits im Wesentlichen das gleiche Produkt ist, sehr teuer ist.

Man bezahlt quasi für den Schraubendreher mit Wechselbits einen Aufschag von mehr als 100% auf den Deluxe Tinker. Das muss man sich bei der Anschaffung überlegen.

Ich habe mittlerweile bereits mein 2 Sackmesser, als Informatiker ein unverzichtbares Tool, man hat immer alles Dabei um Geräte öffnen zu können. Auch meinem Mitarbeiter habe ich bei Arbeitsbeginn eines geschenkt, welcher ebenfalls nun begeistert ist von diesem Tool und immer dabei hat.

Super IT Sackmesser

Ich besitze das Tool nun schon mehrere Jahre und bisher ist mir (fast) kein Problem, von der Kleinigkeit am PC bis hin zur Reparatur am Auto, begegnet das ich damit nicht lösen konnte. Obwohl so viele Werkzeuge verbaut sind ist das Messer noch äußerst kompakt und somit immer dabei. Absolutes Highlight ist für mich der Bithalter und die beiliegenden Bits die sehr durchdacht zusammengestellt wurden - bisher hatte ich immer ein Bit was gepasst hat.

Alleskönner den ich nicht mehr missen möchte

Egal ob für die Arbeit, Freizeit, Ausgang, Ferien, ... mein Cybertool ist allzeit dabei und einsatzbereit.

Ótima ferramenta! Canivete completo e minha unica ferramenta de trabalho(sou analista de suporte e redes ) e minha ferramenta do dia a dia para as pequenas coisas. Minhas únicas resalvas: A chave de bits escurece, segundo informações do Sr. Otávio, funcionário da empresa na época durante a manutenção do meu canivete, seria por que a peça é banhada por níquel. Apesar da mesma continuar operacional, é o tipo de coisa que eu não esperaria da marca. Outra coisa que poderia ter sido atualizado é o alicate para o modelo novo. Ainda assim recomendo essa ferramenta.

The CyberTool M, as the name implies, is ideal for those who work with computers or tech equipment. Unique to the CyberTool line is an in-line screwdriver housing with a selection of bits, including Torx, hex, small Phillips heads, and a small flathead.  The screwdriver has excellent torque and I like it much better than the shorter perpendicular screwdrivers on most other models.  This model also features pliers, which are stronger than they look. Excellent model; slightly on the heavier side (5.4 oz) for an everyday carry, but well worth the extra ounce as opposed to, say, a Deluxe Tinker.

Outstanding features for techies

Bin von Beruf Elektrotechniker und habe dieses Multifunktionswerkzeug oft im Einsatz bei einer schnellen Reparatur von Geräten. Ist jetzt 7 Jahre in Gebrauch; funktioniert einwandfrei.
Lediglich die Zange ist etwas schwach ausgefallen und eignet sich nur für leichte Tätigkeiten.
Alles in allem ein guter Begleiter für Alltag und leichten Technikeinsatz.

De las navajas Victorinox que tengo y tuve estoy seguro que esta es la mejor, me llevó varias semanas elegirla y pensar bien la utilidad de cada herramienta hasta que finalmente me decidí por esta. Tiene lo justo y necesario, ni de más ni de menos. Pienso que si se le agregara más herramientas tendría más capas, aumentaría su tamaño y su peso perdiendo transportabilidad, maniobrabilidad y practicidad por el gran tamaño. Aparte que en mi caso por ej. no uso ninguna de las sierras, ya tengo una para madera en la Hercules mod. 0.8543 que es muy buena, pero no la usé jamás. Esta Cybertools M de 34 funciones posee 5 capas que para mí es el límite de lo maniobrable. Antes de ayer me llegó por correo y cuando la ví por primera vez, me pareció tan buena que decidí no usarla, la guardaré de adorno o para mostrarle a mis amigos, parientes o visitas o símplemente para mirarla de vez en cuando. Ahora estoy pensando adquirir otra igual para usarla diariamente. Lo que más uso son las 2 Hojas de Corte, con la Chica, abro los blisters, el Gancho Multiuso para cargar las bolsas del supermercado, la Tijera que es infaltable, el Alicate está muy bueno pero trato de no usarlo y ahora el Destornillador Cybertools con sus puntas que no lo quiero ni tocar por lo bueno que parece. Saludos.

Ich habe das Sackmesser erst seit ca. einem Monat und es hat mir bereits mehrmals den "Hintern" gerettet.

Da ich als Informatiker arbeite und handwerklich begabt bin, repariere ich mit diesem Tool nicht nur Server sondern auch das Auto und sogar das WC :-) (danach mit Alkohol desinfizieren und das Multi Tool Öl nutzen).

Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Zange  könnte noch einen besseren Kabelschneider beinhalten.

Das Messer ist trotzdem 5 Sterne Wert, da es mir immer wieder hilft.

コンピュータ関係の仕事をしています。
フリーアクセスの床下を開けて配線を通す際に、手をかけたりケーブルを通したりする開口部に接着された金属のふたを開けることがあります。きっちり止められているふたをはがすのに、マルチフックが役立ちます。
スモールブレード（小刃）もよく使います。マイナスドライバーでは厚みのあるコンピュータの筐体のすき間に差し込んだり、液晶画面と外枠のわずかな間に落ちているゴミを取り出したり、ブレードではなく薄いヘラとして重宝します。栓抜き部分についている大きなマイナスドライバーもヘラとして時々使います。
穴あけ（リーマー）は、使い切ったエアダスターのスプレー缶に穴をあけて廃棄する際など、時々出番があります。
小さくまとまったドライバーとビットも勿論便利です。例外はAppleのMacBook内の星形ねじで、添付のビットでは大きすぎました。
普段使わないのはコルク抜きくらいでしょうか。大きなプロジェクトが終わった際にワインで乾杯とか、いずれやってみたいですね。
このサイバーツールMはさっと出せる小さな工具箱として、日常の業務の相棒となっています。

Mi señora me regaló la Cyber Tool hace 4 años y ya no salgo sin ella, aunque no salga a trabajar. Es increíble la cantidad de veces que la usé y me felicité por tenerla encima. Incluso han habido casos en los que por no bajar de la escalera a buscar un destornillador usé los incluídos.
El serrucho es increíble como corta y el bolígrafo...¡¡¡Sigue escribiendo como el primer dia!!!
La recomiendo para todo aquel que sea práctico y necesite soluciones rápidas.

El mejor regalo

This knife has the perfect tool set for a belt pouch-carried Swiss army knife. (SAK) It can be carried in the hip pocket in a pinch, or if you don't mind great heavy things in your pocket, but trust me, it's better in a pouch. Not only is the weight and bulk more appropriate there, but it also takes a LOT longer for it to get full of lint and cause the tools to lose their "snap."

The bit driver tool was a stroke of genius. The 5 double-sided bits, then two hex drivers built into the end of the driver itself. This is a two layer wide tool, but it pays for itself the first time you encounter a recessed #2 Phillips and no other multi-tool Phillips will reach it. We also gain a medium slotted screwdriver tip, so that we finally have something between the small one on the can opener and the large one on the bottle opener. Torx is not so common in the USA yet, but I'm hoping it will soon be the world standard bit type and totally replace hex and Phillips. Victorinox needs to get with the program and make widely available a wider selection of bits for this wonderful bit driver. I'd like the option to replace the Torx bits with metric hex, for my RC trucks, for example. Maybe an accessory kit with 8 common sizes of metric and inch hex for example?

The scales include not only the classical toothpick and tweezers, but also the Plus tools of the ballpoint pen and stainless pin. Don't laugh, you'll be surprised how often you use them. The pin is the perfect companion for the tweezers, when you get a nasty little sliver of steel in your finger.

At first, I "settled" and bought this model instead of the 29 (S) because I HAD to have the wonderful Victorinox scissors, but didn't want the thick pliers. Later, I found that I use the pliers more often than I thought I would. It's the kind of tool that you'll happily use if you have it on you, but didn't necessarily miss before you had it. I've not found the wire cutter or crimper in the pliers to be at all useful; I rarely need to cut wire that fine, and NEVER need to crimp anything that small. Consider the pliers to be a very strong but thin set of finger tips, and you'll have the right expectations for it; more than a tweezers, less than a full size pliers.

I used to drink a lot of beer, and so the bottle opener got a workout. Now, I just use it for the large screwdriver tip, which also serves as a light-duty pry bar.

Now that I'm a Swiss Army Knight (google it) I'm finding more uses for the can opener. Sometimes, I open a can with it for fun. But more often I use the sharp point of it for draw-cutting some soft material, or the sharpened edge of it for prying something apart without ruining my knife blades.

The scissors is eternally useful. Trimming errant threads on clothes, clipping coupons, de-tagging new clothing for the ultimate in comfort, and opening those frustrating clamshell packages!

The small blade is my go-to for general use. The large one, I hold back for food prep: cutting and peeling apples, and sometimes even for cutting a tough steak when only dull butter knives are available for everyone else, hehehe.

I'm also finding more uses for the hook on the back of the Cybertool 34 (M). I once used it for fishing a particular wire out of a crowded electrical box. I commonly use it for pulling body clips out of my 1/8 scale radio-controlled trucks.

The "reamer with sewing eye" is REALLY useful. I use it for cutting the foil on wine bottles before deploying the corkscrew, and for cutting the shrink wrap on bottles of barbecue sauce. It also excels to mark a place to cut a line on long materials, and to center-punch the spot where you want your drilled hole to go: just start the hole with your trusty Vic reamer, then finish it with a power drill, being comfortable in the knowledge that the bit will not wander 1/8" away and cause a poor fit in something.

The mini screwdriver is useful for so much more than eyeglasses. I have 20/20 vision, and I find that I use it more often on sizing watch bracelets, for example. 'Know what else it is good for? Entertaining a 3-year old while we're waiting for food to come in a restaurant. Do you remember how long 20 minute seemed like when you were a little kid? I do, it was pure torture.

I gave it 4 stars for handling, as it IS thick enough that using the large flat head screwdriver can be a touch awkward; with the rest of the knife swinging around.

Price:performance ratio is also only Good. Quality is there, but you first have to be willing to pay for it. My advice is to live a little and do it. It was Ben Franklin who said: "The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."

Bottom line is that if you're more of a technical person than a fisherman or hiker, you'll find this more useful than the good ol' Swisschamp.

My Favorite "Thickie"

I would ask you guys add three essential tools to this one. FIrstly, A little lamp that is always useful when you lost a screw inside of a laptop or desktop computer. Secondly, please a Zoom lens in order to read the small serial numbers of the electronic devices and thirdly the new bit for the apple computer screw which is very common these days. I used to have one that recently I lost in the beach. I am so sad because that. I really loved it and it was with me since my bachelors until my PhD. I would like have a new one, unfortunately it is no easy to find in New Zealand. Great product I really like it.

Everyone has already gone over the particulars of the knife, so I just wanted to add my trick which has kept me from losing any bits for over 10 years. Put the #8 Torx into the tool so that the 4mm hex bit is the one sticking out exposed. The way that one's shaped, it bumps against the black tab that flips up the bit holder and can't fall out. A related tip is to wrap a fat rubber band around the knife to keep it from sliding out of loose pant pockets. Enjoy your knife!

How to NOT lose the bits

The cybertool 34 is definitely unique, I like the bits. I love the quality of this product, it definitely live up to its standards.

Overall the knife I was looking for.

I am super careful about the not losing the bits when I open the knife, but after years of using the knife, it’s just impossible not to lose them. When the cybertool first came out, I wrote to Victorinox about this. I got a reply they knew about it. As I recall they knew the mold did not hold the bits tight enough. But nothing has seemed to have changed. Just today I needed a bit and it was gone! Too bad since bits are hard to replace. Most stores don’t want to bother with them.
Yes I am a computer pro, and it’s a great tool. My only wish is that the smaller tools should have the magnifying glass. Serial #’s are hard to read!

The Bits!!!

Diese Taschenmesser begleitet mich seit 13 Jahren jeden Tag in der Hosentasche. Wenn ich das Taschenmesser bei Flugreisen mit dem Gepäck aufgeben muss, fühle ich mich nackt.

Ich habe das Messer seinerzeit während eines Schweiz Aufenthaltes geschenkt bekommen. Als Informatiker mit Hardwarebezug habe ich es sehr zu schätzen gelernt. Unter anderem habe ich damit während eines Bewerbungsgespäches den Beamer umbauen können. Ich fühlte mich wie McGyver und habe den potentiellen Arbeitgeber sehr damit beeindruckt.

Alle enthaltenen Werkzeuge haben sich als sehr nützlich erwiesen. Ich weiss nicht wieviele Splitter ich meinen beiden Kinder bereits mit dem Taschenmesser entfernt habe. Spontane Fahrrad-, PC-, Toaster-, Brillen- ... Reparaturen habe ich erfolgreich nur mit einem Taschenmesser "bewaffnet" erledigen können.

Einziger Kritikpunkt an meinem Messer ist der Bithalter fuer die nicht verwendeten Bits. Die Bits sind mit einer federbelasteten Kugel versehen, damit sie nicht aus dem Schrauber fallen. Leider ist der Bithaler nicht mit einer Rille versehen in der sich diese Kugel "festhalten" kann, weshalb ich im Laufe der ersten Jahre, während des Einsatzes des Schraubers, alle Reservebits verloren habe. Nur das Schlitz/Kreuzschlitz-Bit im Schrauber ist noch vorhanden.

Ich habe meinen Bithalter jetzt umgebaut. Er nimmt jetzt einen Uhrmacher-Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher und einen Drahthaken auf.
Wer einmal ein Kind das auf die Toilette möchte vor sich stehen hatte, das gerade den Griff des Reissverschlusses abgebrochen hat, weiss wofür dieser Drahthaken gut ist.

Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Messer sehr zufrieden und von der Qualität und Verarbeitung mehr als überzeugt. Das Messer ist fast täglich in Benutzung und wird nicht immer geschont. Trotzdem funktioniert es noch ganz hervorragend.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Ständiger Begleiter in der Hosentasche seit 13 Jahren

I purchased this knife at a little knife store on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco over 25 years ago just before our daughter was born. Believe it or not the store is still there today. I've repaired computers, two-way radios (well over 2500), cars, TV's, door knobs, remote control models and lots of other things you would never think of. It has traveled a long, long way over the years. The ONLY thing I have had to replace is one of the bits that I lost.

I have had other knife/tools, but none have compared to the durability that this knife has shown.

This is a great knife/tool that is durable and well worth the price - even at today's prices, especially if you are into technology stuff.

Great Knife and Tool

I love this knife. I use it multiple times a day. I cannot recommend it enough for the saves it gives me every day. My favorite non fishing/hunting knife. Great gift for any one who likes to tinker or fix things.

A little history, when i was 6 or 7 i pestered the maintenance man at our apartments to give me his SAK.. Took me four months but he finally did!.. my mom wouldn't let me have a knife, when she found it after a while she took it and tossed it! :/

28 Years later, after years of using Gerbers and Leatherman's I am back on the SAK wagon! I have this one here and its pretty great! I'm so used to the ones I mentioned before, they wiggle and wobble and the pliers on my LM Wave and skeli-tool snapped off (Skelli-tool pliers snapped on a tuna can!!..) same with my Gerber before that. They are okay tools but they dont seem to have the same attention to detail as a true SAK.. Now im all about getting Made in the USA, but only if its made well and I prefer by hand, its hard to get that anywhere now-a-days.. Gerber is not US made anymore, seems like they have some okay high end stuff but most is pretty flimsy IMHO. Leatherman is made in the USA, but its machine made and i have to say there quality control center needs some new glasses. Its sad but true. I used to love em but if i cant rely on what i but, whats the point?!

I need something that wont fail on me when I need it, ive dropped this sucker here many times. its scratched, scuffed and dinged.. but everything is flawless as far as the tools.

Im so impressed with what the Cybertool 34 does ive went ahead and bought me a Swisschamp XAVT.. I know.. its unwieldy but im 6'9" and have huge hands, its all good! I plan to use each day. Will be here in 3 days VERY EXCITED..

If I had to gripe about something, ... its hard to think of anything.. well.. the tool gets dirty pretty quick, lotta nooks and crannies and I lose the toothpick every week, that's all I have! Oh wait.. the screwdriver cant reach into the more tight spots on some electronics.. that's all!

Great product!.. So well built!

This may be the best pocket knife every made. The socket feature is axially mounted with the body of the knife, and it's performance is almost as good as a dedicated screwdriver. The only disadvantage is you cannot get replacement bits. The "hook" blade is remarkably handy, and unique. How many times have you had a heavy wire handle, such as on a gallon paint can, biting into your fingers? This hook, being brilliantly attached in the center of the knife, allows you to distribute the load over the whole hand. HUGE improvement. Such an intelligently thought out knife.
