Das Taschenmesser ist sehr gut verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und die einzelnen Werkzeuge funktionieren , wie sie sollen.
Es geht offensichtlich auf ein fast baugleiches Messer von Wenger zurück, das mir noch geringfügig besser gefallen hat.

Ich habe das Evolution Grip 14 als Geschenk für meinen Bürokollegen erstanden. Als mittleres Taschenmesser hat es die richtige Grüsse um es noch "unauffällig" in der Tasche zu tragen, es verfügt aber übe alle nötigen Werkzeuge für den Alltag im Office, auch für jede kleine Feier geeignet.

Before 2005, Swiss army knifes were produced by two companies: Victorinox and Wenger. In 2005 Victorinox bought Wenger and the two brands were merged into one brand - Victorinox - in 2013. 

This is a Wenger knife that's why it's more expensive. It's produced in Delémont, which is stated on the blade. 

The knife in a closed position is smaller than the Victorinox Climber, just like the blade. The handle has an ergonomic design which is very nice and unique to Wenger, and also gives a better grip compared to the flat Victorinox handles. The scissors are slightly serrated and their spring has a different design which is more robust compared to the thin metal spring of Victorinox. There is no smaller/second blade (this is not visible on the photos), it's a nail file/nail cleaner instead. 

Every element is a little bit smaller and slimmer but this is only noticeable when you directly compare it with a Climber. 

The Evolution line of Victorinox is the only remaining line of Wenger what you can still purchase today, apart from the Wenger Red which came out 2017. Perhaps the the Ranger range is also Wenger heritage but I just suspect this because of the bicolour and ergonomic handle. 

Bottom line: 

If you want to own or gift a "Genuine Swiss Army Knife" (this was Wenger's line) what is legal to carry in the UK, has an interesting history, and don't want to go with the Climber which is too common and everywhere this is the Swiss knife for you.

The scissors on this multitool is phenomenal! I love this tool! I use it everyday. I love having a toothpick with me at all times. I added the tiny screwdriver replacement to mine to be able to fix glasses when the screwdriver gets loose. Overall, best multitool ever!

Je viens de recevoir mon nouveau couteau Victorinox.  Je suis un fan fini des produits Victorinox et ce couteau parfait était attendu depuis longtemps.  Il possède tous les outils dont j’ai besoin.  Un compagnon de voyage idéal.

Slightly smaller in overall size and contoured grip makes this tool easier to use for some older people. Love the scissors and nail file. A very useful tool for around the house. You can clip coupons. Open a can of soup. Tighten the handle of your soup pan. Uncork a wine bottle or pop open a bottled beverage with ease. Smaller main blade is still handy for opening boxes, mail, and lots more. Victorinox knives and multi-tools are almost always the first tool I seek when I have a job to do.

Very practical, size, tools, colors, and the same characteristics. I have had always a Swiss Army knife. My father gave me the first one one Christmas when I was 15!years old

This precious SAK has all the tools I look into an Urban EDC:
- Blade
- Scissors
- Nail file and Nail Cleaner
- Large flat screwdriver and bottle opener that locks
- Small flat/Phillips screwdriver and can opener
- Scale tools
- Corckscrew
The Awl is a plus
I use a micro screwdriver in the corckscrew and only miss the pen as a scale tool.

My only drawback is that the Delemont/Wenger scales make it a thick knife similar to a Victorinox 4 layer knife when it has only 3.  BUT IT STIL IS MY FAVORITE among my current collection (I really use the scissors and the nail file a lot)

My favorite EDC!

I have many SAKs in my personal collection from both Victorinox and Wenger. I like different features from each maker (both currently unified under Victorinox). In the EVO Grip 14, I get many favorite features from both. I like the blade, nail file, locking screwdriver, evo grip and scissors from Wenger combined with the Victorinox can opener/screwdriver, toothpick and tweezer design, and reamer. In other words, Victorinox took a great Wenger knife and upgraded it with the superior Victorinox tools. Absolutely awesome tool!
