Très élégant couteau de tous les jours. Tous simplement incroyable.

Ein tolles Messer, mit einer makellosen Fertigungsqualität. 
Da wackelt nichts und das satte Schließen bzw. Zuschnappen der Klingen ist laut und genial.
Die Alu-Schalen sind extrem fest, fein matt poliert und lassen sich von Hand kaum bis gar nicht verformen bzw. zusammendrücken. 
Die Schalen sind auch die Platinen. 
Das Messer hat eine Dicke von 5,5 mm (ohne die leichten Erhebungen der 3 Nieten gemessen).
Die große Klinge ist ca. 5 mm kürzer (Länge 58 mm, Schneide 51 mm), als die der 84 mm Offiziers Messer, hat einen schmäleren Erl-Bereich und ist rasiermesserscharf!
Die kleine Klinge ist selten und unterscheidet sich etwas von der 58 mm Classic Messer Klinge. Sie ist ca. 4 mm kürzer und 1..1,5 mm breiter, bei einer Dicke von 1 mm.
Das Messer ist so fein, schlank und elegant glatt, dass man es ohne Sicherung oder ohne eine enge Jeans-Hosentasche verlieren wird. 
Es ist die große, schlanke Schwester des Victorinox Money Clips, aber mit Ring.
Es wäre ein toller Schlüsselanhänger, ist aber viel zu schade dafür.
Der Preis ist für mich absolut gerechtfertigt.
Es macht süchtig, das geschlossene Messer spielend durch seine Finger gleiten zu lassen.

If you're considering this knife, then you already know the Excelsior is truly unique when you compare it to other SAKs. This model has two blades ‐‐ primary blade and a secondary smaller blade, and there's no toothpick or tweezers. For me personally, I like it because it's unique and not like every other SAK. If you're a collector, this is a must have. If you're just looking for a small pocket knife with two blades, this does the trick! Mine arrived very sharp, and it came with a carrying case. That was a nice little bonus for $20. For the price, you won't regret buying this. It would also make a great gift for a loved one, or perhaps a child's first pocket knife.

Truly Unique

Petit couteau que j'ai depuis longtemps. Rien à redire.
La petite lame est usée. Léger et juste bon pour la finition de sculpture sur bois et repas champêtre.

Brought as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. Very sharp, nice to hold and great size.

Great little knife

This is a lovely item to own, (I bought four, one for myself and one each for my son's) slim and tactile with two blades, overall it is well finished, however the one I kept had a small scratch on one side.

Well made slim pocket knife

This knife is so low-profile that any type of pocket carry is easily achieved without bulk:  hiking, weddings, work, anytime.  I have had one of these in my pocket for about 15 years.  The key to not loosing this is to always attach it to a keyring or clip; this can very easily slip out of your pocket if it is not attached to something.  This knife is the modern day equivalent to the red ribbed alox (same texture as classic) Victorinox Popular from the 1990s and earlier.  It is too bad victorinox doesn't make that version of this knife anymore.  It had far greater gripability and eye appeal.

Das Messer liegt sehr gut in der Hand und sieht dazu noch sehr elegant aus. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr elegant

J'adore les couteaux et il m'est difficile de ne pas en avoir un sur moi en permanence. J'ai trouvé avec l'excelsior le parfait compromis entre taille, poids  et praticité.Ses deux lames suffisent et permettent des usages différents . Tout plat il ne prend pas de place et est trés élégant, enfin il bénéficie de la qualité de fabrication victorinox.
A titre personnel j'en ai deux car aprés le rouge j'ai trouvé la finition alu encore plus élégante.

Étonnant couteau ...
Un extra terrestre, je trouve, dans la gamme Victorinox
Il n'a pas la petite taille des "Classic SD".
Il n'a pas toutes les fonctionnalités des couteaux d'officier. 
Mais il a la légèreté du premier et la taille du deuxième. 
Donc peu de chance de le perdre au fond d'un fauteuil .....
J'en ai fait mon couteau de tous les jours.

Ok, I know what you are thinking "Why on Earth get a tiny knife with only two blades and nothing else?" This is one of Victorinoxes oldest and most classical pocket knives models. It has stood the test of time. I work as a teacher and I need a tiny knife with a decent blade to sharpen art pencils etc. I only need the blades. It´s not really kosher to "bring a knife to school" but this one is so harmless, nobody will or can use it in the wrong way. It´s friendly, harmless and helpfull. This is an exellent little knife for the minimalist survivalkit, artists or people who work in enviroments in which buissness suits are mandatory. The key-ring is great, you can add stuff such as a mini flashlight and the red color makes easy to find. In the right enviroment it´s a God send!
