The competition will be conducted by Victorinox AG, Schmiedgasse 57, CH-6438 Ibach-Schwyz.
To participate in the competition you must first register the product purchased from Victorinox. For this purpose the QR Code on the packaging of the purchased product must be scanned. You will then be taken to the landing page where you will be asked to enter details of your name and address on a form. You must then indicate where and when the product was purchased, and upload the purchase receipt. Then click on the “register product” button. In return the participant will receive a neck cord in Victorinox red worth CHF 15.00.
At the end of the registration form you can tick whether you want to take part in the competition and thereby accept the competition terms and conditions. In addition, participants have the opportunity to subscribe to the Victorinox newsletter. By submitting the form you will take part in the prize draw.
Persons eligible to participate must reside in Germany, are legally competent at the time of participation and at least 18 years of age .
Employees of Victorinox AG as well as their family and household members are excluded from taking part.
Participation in the competition is free and there is no obligation to make a purchase.
The participant may only take part in his or her own name. Each participant may only take part once. Multiple entries will lead to the participant being disqualified. Automated participation, input and technical manipulation will also lead to immediate exclusion from the competition.
If the conditions of participation are not complied with, Victorinox AG reserves the right to exclude the participant from taking part without giving reasons.
The competition will take place from 31/01/2025 at midnight to 30/04/2025 at 11:59 pm. Entries close on 30/04/2025 at 23:59 (Central European time).
A total of two prizes will be drawn, namely a Pioneer X Alox Limited Edition 2025 knife with a value of EUR 79.00.
The prizes will be drawn at random among all participants.
The draw will be carried out among all participants using a random generator. All declarations of participation submitted on time are eligible to participate. The decision regarding the winner is final. The specific form of the prizes is subject to change (to an adequate equivalent).
The winner will be notified by Victorinox AG via the email address provided in the competition. He/she is asked to provide his/her contact details (name, first name, postal address, telephone number). If no response is received within 72 hours, a new winner will be drawn and the previously selected winner will lose the right to the prize.
The competition prizes will only be sent to addresses in Switzerland. Prizes that cannot be delivered (e.g. due to an invalid postal address), will be forfeited without compensation.
If the competition and the draw are interrupted for legal, administrative or technical reasons and can no longer be continued, Victorinox AG can terminate the competition and draw at any time without giving reasons.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring that his/her email account (mailbox) is accessible. Victorinox is not liable for technical problems of any kind or access difficulties. Victorinox AG assumes no liability for any loss of data for whatever reason.
The prize cannot be paid in cash or be exchanged.
Victorinox AG will not participate in consumer arbitration before a consumer arbitration board under the VSBG (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz [Act on Alternative Dispute Resolutions in Consumer Matters]) in Germany and is not required to do so.
German law applies exclusively. This choice of law does not limit the rights of a participant granted to him/her by virtue of his/her place of residence and/or nationality.
With the exception of notifying the winners, no correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. Legal recourse is excluded.
The conditions of participation can be adjusted at any time.
Data Protection Notice: The participant shall advise the organiser Victorinox AG, Schmiedgasse 57, CH-6438 Ibach-Schwyz of his/her email address as part of the competition. The personal data (name and contact details) of the participants will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition (awarding prizes). In order to receive the prize, participants must provide the organiser with the aforementioned data. The data collected as part of the participation/award of prizes will be treated confidentially in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law, will not be passed on to third parties and will be deleted after the competition has ended. The legal basis for the processing of participants’ personal data after registration for the competition is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. b of the GDPR. Participants are entitled to the statutory rights to information, rectification, blocking, erasure and revocation which must be asserted against the organiser. Participants may also exercise a right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Personal data will only be stored for as long as the purpose for which it was collected so requires.
