How to apply for an apprenticeship

1. Take a look at the different apprenticeships we offer.

2. Apply for a trial apprenticeship to get an insight into the profession and Victorinox. The trial apprenticeship lasts two to five days, depending on the profession. Please find the contact details below.

Send us an e-mail with: - Your CV - Your report of the upper school - Your preferred dates for the trial apprenticeship

3. Liked the trial apprenticeship? Apply via email for your desired apprenticeship. Your contact person will tell you when you can submit your application.

To do so, you will need: - A letter of application - A current curriculum vitae - All certificates from the upper school and a Stellwerk or Basic-/Multicheck test.

4. After we have received your application We will contact you by e-mail. We may invite you for an interview to get to know you better and tell you more about Victorinox.

5. After the interview You will have time to decide if you want to accept the apprenticeship at Victorinox. We will also let you know soon if you have been accepted for the apprenticeship.

6. Your start at Victorinox We’ll invite you to sign the apprenticeship contract and you’ll receive further information about joining Victorinox. We’ll set up an introductory program for you and let you know where and when you should arrive on your first working day. We’ll also give you the tools you need for your start in our company.

Application Process and Helpful Tips

1. Use a current resume template with no errors, with complete information, and clear layout including a recent photo.

2. Check what documents we need and send them digitally. Mention anything missing in your application letter.

3. Research our website and your chosen profession. Prepare written questions about the job, the apprenticeship, and our company. It’s also a good idea to take notes during your interview.

4. Be on time, put your phone on silent, and remember the names of your interviewers. Be open, share your experience and your expectations, don’t be afraid to ask your questions.
