I used this for less then 1 year and the cutting blade was chipped and can't use any more. I only used this for cutting nails and never use to cut any other materials. Check with Australian Victorinox representative and they said that the have no stock and can't do any refund/repair/exchange. Like no other Victorinox products, this one won't last, stay away from this.

Unfortunately, the Nail Clipper (8.2055.C) only looks nice. Using it is so much worse than even no-brand Chinese clippers. Why? Cause of the design... I'd like to see Victorinox engineers using it themselves. The nail file part loosely fiddles, getting in your way to comfortably hold the clipper and you have to do an extra effort the whole time using the clipper to keep the nail file part rubbing against the lever or pricking into your palm. Secondly, the clipper's lever is straight and too smooth - fingers pressing it keep sliding off towards the cutting side. Really annoying. For a nail or two Victorinox Classic would make a better job, for a regular use just buy a non-Victorinox clipper.
Third and least important con: nail file too rough (subjective).
I do not recommend this product.
Dear Victorinox, if you're reading it: any chance to return it locally in Vienna, Austria if I purchased it in a Swiss airport?

Terrible Design

As someone who's been using Victorinox items for 50 years, this is not worthy of the Swiss Army brand. I had high hopes for it and bought four, one for myself and three as gifts to my sons. It's very sharp, and the file is adequate.But the "screwdriver" point is useless both as screwdrive and nail claner. The joints of the piece have gaps and are lof low quality, though burninshed smooth. I did not realize that one model did NOT have a keyring, and ordered the non-keyring model by mistake. This is an adequate nail clipper at best; In my opinion, the fit, finish, and design of a good drugstore-type nail clipper is superior. This is very far from what I've come to expect from Victorinox. This product should be withdrawn as not worthy of the name.

Cela fait un jour que j'ai cet objet sur mon porte-clés et je l'aime déjà. Des ongles impeccables en tout temps, voilà qui me plaît beaucoup. C'est un tout petit objet très bien conçu et vraiment utile.
