Das "Mini Champ" Taschenmesser verbirgt eine kleine Werkstatt und das Standard Pflege Sortiment. Absolut klug durchdacht und funktional gestaltet gehört dieses exellente Messerchen in jede Hosen- oder Handtasche. Zunächst sind Zahnstocher, Pincette, Schere, Nagelfeile und Nagelreiniger das Standard Pflege Sortiment. Hinzu gesellt sich ein Nagelhautschieber, der wertvolle Dienste leistet. 
Zur Werkstatt gehören ein 1a Brieföffner, eine universal einsetzbare kleine Klinge, ein Phillips-Schraubendreher 0/1 (magnetisch), ein Schraubendreher 2,5 mm, ein praktischer Drahtabisolierer und ein Kappselheber. Diese notwendigen Wekzeuge sind im Haushalt wertvoll. Das griffbereite Messer leistet hier super Dienste. Neben einem weiteren Schaber ist besonders auch der Orangenschäler zu loben, da er lästiges Abpellen von Orangen sehr gut erleichtert. Last but not least muss der Druckkugelschreiber genannt werden. Überall flink einsetzbar, lassen sich wichtige Notitzen vermerken und natürlich ist dieser Stift bei sämtlichen Markierungen im Haushalt notwendig, die mit keinem Smartphone erledigt werden können.
Jeder, der dieses durchdachte Kleinod kauft, wird seine Freude daran finden. Damit es nicht verloren geht, kann es durch einen Ring überall befestigt werden. Ich wünsche viel Freude mit diesem "Riesen Champ" in "Mini-Format".

Der Mini Champ ist wirklich nicht nur ein Mini, sondern ein Maxi Champion von den Funktionen her. Und das bei einem so kleinen Messer, sehr erstaunlich. Am Anfang verwirrend ist, dass man das Taschenmesser mit der Pinzette erhält und lose der Zahnstocher beiliegt. Ich empfehle dieses kleine Wundertool uneingeschränkt weiter.

I actually found this knife at the Phoenix VA. Approximately 4 years ago. I felt bad for the veteran that lost it. But it is certainly my goldmine! Mine must be a older version because I don’t have tweezers or a toothpick. But still a excellent EDC knife. This brand still use’s the same warranty that I grew up with and is Second to None! Thank you! I used to carry this knife in my 72 hour Emergency Bag. Then a couple of years ago I lost it when I moved. I was reorganizing my emergency bag  yesterday and found it buried under thing’s (a list from now on). It still looks and performs as brand new! Now it’s attached to my keychain. If you can afford it, do yourself a favor and purchase one! To the poor Soldier out there, please forgive me.. lol.

I just received my mini champ and I absolutely love it but there’s one thing missing and that’s the tooth pick. Was kinda bummed about it and that’s the only reason why I didn’t give the product a 5star

Le Mini-champ est de petite taille mais avec beaucoup de fonctions.
Les outils sont d'une qualité fidèle à la marque. L'agencement des différents outils est bien pensé et pratique à utiliser.
C'est un allié fidèle qui prend peu de place tout en étant fonctionnel.
Je l'ai testé dès son arrivé et j'ai été surpris par l'efficacité du décapsuleur qui malgré sa petite taille fonctionne à merveille.
Le fait de pouvoir choisir entre la pince à épiler et le cure dents (dans la boite du couteau) est un plus.
Depuis il ne me quitte plus.

I have carried this knife on my key chain for a while now. It is very useful, and built very well. I particularly appreciate the Philips head, it has came in handy on numerous occasions. I have found the blades to be a little flimsy, however that is only because this is a small knife.

Overall a great knife.

Probably the most useful thing I own. I use it daily for a whole variety of things, opening post, opening boxes/packages, grooming nails, writing notes with the pen, storing my toothpick, using the scissors etc. The screwdrivers are very useful too, they are the perfect size for technology and small jobs, I've used them to reconfigure laptops, hard drives and other small equipment. The tool is small enough to attach to your keyring and it's also a convenient size to keep it in your pocket at all times. Quality Victorinox build that will last a lifetime. I have bought two in my lifetime, one for me years ago and another one recently for my godson for his 18th birthday and he's really pleased with it. I'm very pleased and I highly recommend it. Minor niggles are you have to choose to store either the toothpick or the tweezers - having both would be perfect - I choose the toothpick. Also, this model cannot be personalised which is a real shame. Don't let my last points put you off though as this is a seriously good quality and incredibly useful tool.

Fantastic little knife

Well I have been on the hunt the the best balance for me of size and function.  Since getting this as a great gift and putting it in my pocket i have yet to not have it with me! Play, formal or work this Mini Champ is with me.

No Excuse Daily Carry

Das Schweizer Messer entspricht genau meinen Vorstellungen. Gerade für Wanderungen, die ich regelmäßig bei uns an der Nordseeküste durchführe entspricht genau meinen Erwartungen. Es wird in den Rucksack gelegt mit Thermoskanne und Essware und ist immer greifbar. Ich finde das Messer gut.

...but the one I have does not have a toothpick, has the pen instead.  No biggie unless there are plus scales this small Lol!

I have the Swiss Champ, a huge knife with over 30 functions. While the Swiss Champ is quite handy, it's missing a few tools that the MiniChamp has. For example, the Swiss Champ has several large & medium screwdrivers and one tiny flathead driver, leaving somewhat of a size gap. The MiniChamp fits this niche. Some other handy tools the MiniChamp has are the ruler, file, orange peeler, and pen. I never thought the orange peeler would be very useful, but I'm finding myself using it quite a bit. It's never been easier to open an orange! Ultimately what I bought the knife for was the pen. While my Swiss Champ has a pen, it's so small it's quite hard to grab. The MiniChamp has a pen that pops out the bottom allowing you to get a better grip. I've found myself using the pen quite a bit so it's very handy to have and is the coolest looking pen ever! So, bottom line: Even if you have a knife like the Swiss Champ that seems to do it all, the MiniChamp is a nice complement to the Swiss Champ, filling a niche that the Swiss Champ didn't fully fill. I highly recommend this knife, it's awesome!

I bought this to replace a Wenger knife I had for years and recently lost to airport security.  It has everything the old knife had except a toothpick.  It lists a toothpick on the feature list but don't believe it.  It's also thicker than the old knife which I'm sure I'll get used to.  I would rather have a toothpick then the pen.  Otherwise it looks like it will meet my needs very well.

I have had two of these knives to date and they are excellent.
It goes everywhere with me and has found to be so useful on so many occasions.
If asked for a pen, I pull this out and see the looks of amazement.
I would not be without one.

Superb product

For the money, This is the best keychain base there is.
It is indispensable for the scissors, the pen, the bottle opener, the ruler and the box cutter, not to
mention some of the more common tools. 
As a keychain I keep it with me 24-7 and it so light.
The only negative is you cannot take it on a plane or
into an amusement park. But that is true for all knives.
I would also like you to add see-thru red and blue to the color options.

Leger Petit et pratique

My first impression of this knife was that it appeared to be useful simply given all of the tools that are packed into such a small knife, but I wasn't sure if I would make use of all of the features.  

Once I started using it, I was finding that it was even more capable than I was expecting.  It's hard to judge how useful this knife is until it's in your hand and with you on a daily basis.  

Finally, I thought it might be a little to "thick" compared to the Classic SD, but that is not the case. The size and weight are perfect.

The more you use it, the more you'll love it

IN today and age, some people get sensitive when you have a pocket knife on you.  Especially at your place of business. This little guy is small and none threatening yet has all the tools you would need!  A classy little knife that comes in handy in your day to day . Its perfect for mini GHB and prep kits !   worth it...NOT to mention the life time guarantee .

LOVE it!!

This little gem is an awesome piece of engineering!  The cuticle pusher doubles nicely as a straight edge screwdriver and an extension for when you use the ball point pen.  The ball point pen is the most used feature by me on this knife.  So handy!  This knife is my true edc, resting in a leather pouch on my key chain.

I owned a minichamp for 5 months, I was turning a flat head screw with it then snap! The pin that holds the tools in place broke. This has never happened to any of my other Swiss Army knives. Even though this is a small tool, and I didn't expect it to preform like my new soldier knife does, but it needs to be stronger. Besides this flaw, the minichamp is good for urban use. Nobody is intimidated of it. The pen wrote well, the blades were sharp, and everything was in a very compact tool. Overall, this is a good knife if it's used for its purpose.

Not for heavy use

Finally, an outstanding small knife solution for every day common use! I read the other review about it being too small and had to chime in. There are plenty of fine Swiss Army Knives in the slightly larger versions (too long for my comfort). Great functionality, versatility, numerous tools, but still very light and compact. I clipped it right onto my key ring, and presto, it's forgotten and always just a part of me. I hunt, fish, and bike - and have plenty of other fine knives for outdoor use. But for every day in the city office world I primarily live in, all other knives, multitools, etc. are too long amnd cumbersome to fit comfortably in my suit pants all day long. Also, very non-intimidating or drawing attention in a public environment, especially in comparison to a pocket clip knife. Very inconspicuous, just perfect and please keep it exactly this size!

Small but powerful.
If you are the kind of person who wears trousers with small "key rings" in the pockets or someone whose handbag has everything apart from a screwdriver - then this is the knife for you.
I have attached a small spring loaded clip to mine which ensures it can function as a key ring, clipped to briefcase or just in my pocket.

Never underestimate the MiniChamp

This would be the perfect pocket knife - if it only would be manufactured in the 74 mm size!
It has all the needed blades/tools - and not too many.

But it is too small.

As it is in the 58 mm size class it is too small to be really useful. One can't get a solid grip of it and the blades are too small and weak. This knife in the 74 mm size class would finally be the one I could change to from using the "Executive" model.

The regular "Champs" are too large to be carried in ones pocket. They weigh too much and have too many blades/tools that one really never does use.

Please consider upgrading this MiniChamp to a MidiChamp,

Almost perfect!

Das Messer ist ohne Frage super, ich benutze es seit wenigen Wochen und bin begeistert... Aber ich weiss nicht wo ich einen ersatzkugelschreiber her bekomme... Ich habe im ofiziellen Victorinox-Shop geschaut konnte jedoch nur nie "Einsteckstifte" finden... Ich hoffe ich bekomme noch welche da ich diese Funktion oft nutze!

This little tool is my all time favorite SAK. It has helped me in countless ways in numerous times, and I feel naked if I don't have one on my keyring. The cuticle pusher is perfect for scooping snuff tobacco from a tin. I'm tempted to get the midnite version, but this original Minichamp, is unbeatable. The current Minichamp has lost it's tweezers and the ruler blade is no more folding in properly, but I love it dearly. Pen has given me great joy when one needed one and no one else had any. For the bigger SAK's I'd wish, and I know we are a legion, that one could pick and mix blades online and get a truly personalized SAK. Hopefully Victorinox enables this one day.

This is my second mini champ and the quality and functionality of this knife is unmatched. My first went on my keys at work and I found myself carrying 2 sets of keys because of the things I could do with the mini champ. The knife is small and compact yet it doesn't feel at all bad in your hands what ever utility you are you using.

Nothing has been more useful

I bought this for my wife and it was an immediate hit. She has used it everyday and is so happy with it that I am buying three more! Its small size enables it to be carried everywhere and its great versatility comes in handy for everyday small tasks. I also purchased the leather pouch which keeps the knife looking new, although it does make it a bit bulky. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a small everyday utility knife.

Excellent Versatility

Good all-rounder. Used these for years, but the MInichamp is the best. Slips on my keyring and is unobtrusive. Always on hand for those moments when most people think, "I wish I had a SAK"!

I am amazed how much quality craftsmanship, functionality can be packed in such a small handy tool.
I just bought it and already used it to fix my wrist watch, all tools i needed were on it.
Perfect as a keyring, fixing small things, as a gift or if you are out and don't have space for a bigger knife, but need to carry one "just in case"
My 2nd Victorinox product, i am so happy with it, the name "mini champ" fits perfectly.
It has all the tools i need to have handy everyday and the ruler is a great addiction i always needed a small pocket one.

I think this must be my 5th Minichamp. I wore one out, lost a couple, and had 2 confiscated at airports. When the minichamp is not in my pocket, I feel exactly as if I left my phone at home.
Once you rely on it, you can't do without anymore, and I amaze lots of people with what I use it for. I sometimes feel like I am a Victorinox sales rep, haha.
It would be nice if Victorinox came up with a quirkier redesign of the Mini champ.

A show off tool on birthday parties!

This is a superb little knife. It is small enough to fit easily onto a pocket keyring, yet packed with enough features for any situation. It is only slightly bigger than the 'classic' knife but benefits from having a pen, a robust Philip's Head screwdriver as well as scissors and two knives. It is just as durable as any Victorinox product and I thoroughly recommend it.

Read the first review to lean the one blade is an orange peeler, I have used it for lots of different uses.

Fell Naked Without It !

I always carry two pocketknives with me. One is a one-hand trekker. The other is this little minichamp on my keychain.

The minichamp is the perfect complement to my more serious work knife. Its small blades are great for fine detailed cutting. It has everything needed for a "Swiss Manicure."

The orange peeler is an awesome little addition as well. Incredibly handy.

A Mini Masterpiece.

I have carried my MiniChamp pocket tool for several years now... originally got it from a NJ dealer that engraved my initials on it (so that if I left it somewhere it might find it's way home). I HAVE turned around and gone back to my house because I left this tool at home. I do that for my cell phone and my MiniChamp. I use my MiniChamp at least 5-10 times each day and have used every single feature - sometimes not for the intended purpose though...! I wish the tweezers had a few "teeth" in them so that they would actually grab something, but they have reached into a crevice and retrieved a small screw, so they too were helpful. Alas, my knife was finally left somewhere and it's been 2 weeks now and I'm totally lost without it. I've been carrying an old Rambler which I carried for many years until I discovered the MiniChamp, but the Rambler just doesn't meet my needs like the MiniChamp. So... I'm now replacing my lost MiniChamp with the Midnight MiniChamp as the light would eliminate the small pocket light that I also carry!!! I own at least 10 different Victorinox knives and tools, including the granddaddy of them all, the SwissChamp XAVT !! Now THAT'S a TOOL !!! (fun to show anyway!). I also love Victorinox luggage and cutlery. A great company that's never let me down.

This is a turn-around and go get if you leave home without it product!!!

Never want to be without SAK - and this tool has a great combination of features - used other versions, but this compact model does the most for my needs.
