Just to put the record straight, as the first review that appears top of the list of top reviews suggests this is a copy, this IS the Swiss Army Knife - Victorinox was the original supplier of these knives to the Swiss Army, and continues to be the original and only supplier to the Army. (Much) later, the Army chose to share their business with a second company, Wenger, for competition, however, Wenger was eventually acquired by Victorinox, returning to the situation where Victorinox is the only supplier.
Obviously a penknife has a different purpose from a locking hunting knife- you wouldn't want to be gralloching a deer with one of these, but for almost every other job you can think of, this little tool can- and will- frequently surprise you with its' capabilities!
I've only had my huntsman pocket knife for a week or so now, and have already stripped wires, opened wine, removed packaging, cut rope and cable ties, removed wasp stings (useful little tweezers are a nice addition in this model) cut fishing line (amazingly useful little scissors!) and countless other tasks that would normally have me rummaging in a drawer or tool box for a suitable tool.
Having this little red pen knife in your pocket or on your keyring is a massive time saver, and you'll be amazed just how many times you'll end up using it!

This IS the original and genuine Swiss Army Knife.

Habe jetzt seit vergangenem Dienstag mein Fortester im Einsatz.
Für mich perfekt, sowohl für das Picknick während der Fahrrad-Tour als auch im beruflichen Alltag in der Werkstatt geeignet.
Durch die Schlange Bauform (bedingt durch die relativ wenigen Funktionen) liegt es schön in der Tasche und lässt sich beim Gebrauch wie ein feststehendes Messer greifen und bedienen.
Kurz und gut: Ich habe alles was ich will und brauche. Und das in Zeiten, in denen Qualität nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist

Bought mine 13~ish years ago in Switzerland. It's still going strong today, this penknife has come in handy more times than I can count over the years. I've used every single tool and its taken a serious beating. I have no doubt it will keep going for another 13 years and probably longer.

I have owned this knife for 27 years. I lost the little pick and tweezers tool years ago but have kept it in my tool box and used it regularly.
I thought it was time to buy a new tool to go in my emergency grab bag which would double as a saw, can opener, cork screw, bottle opener and also have a decent, secure, durable and above all else, sharp main blade. 
I eventually narrowed my choices to two, a Gerber and a Leatherman but every time I found myself comparing the sharpness of the blade and the durability and comfort of the handle shape to my trusty old Swiss Army Forester. So there you have it. No need to waste my cash on a new tool.
Just transferred my Swiss Army from my tool bag to my grab bag where it now sits attached by green para cord to the shoulder strap of my Molle pack ready to assist with whatever emergency life throws in my path.
The Forester is the ideal personal assistant. I would love the saw blade to lock but would only use in a dire emergency anyway but I know it would be as trustworthy as the rest of the knife. Brilliant bit of kit from a trustworthy brand.

El largo extra en la hoja es ideal, la sierra es una motosierra y los bloqueos liner lock funcionan perfecto. Creo que yo dejaré de funcionar mucho más pronto que ella. Gracias!

Utile, pratico.... molto comodo nelle escursioni in alta montagna... ho questo coltello dall'eta' di 15 anni ora ne ho 43.... sostituito le guancette perché usurate 08-07-2020.

Immer und überall dabei

Das Messer ist noch nicht zu dick und dadurch ein ständiger Begleiter. Die Klingenlänge ist geeignet, um auch einmal größerers Gemüse zu schnippeln und die Säge arbeitet sich schnell durch dickere Äste. Mit der Oberseite der Säge lässt sich auch ein Feuerstahl bedienen.

J'ai 2 Forester depuis  plus de 5 ans peut-être 10 ans
Tout fonctionne  bien ils sont faciles à affûter, et ça coupe.
L'acier de la lame est excellent.
