I bought this version of the Swiss Card because I wanted the magnifying glass, along with the features of the Classic. The light is very dim and isn't useful unless the card is a couple inches or less away from the object you're looking at. The blade makes an excellent letter opener and is very sharp. The standard ballpoint ben, tweezers, and scissors are all nice and high in quality.

The light is dim but everything else is very good.

La uso casi todos los días. Para cortar envases, abrir cartas, ver letras pequeñas de etiquetas de productos en el supermercado, asegurar pequeños tornillos, repartir alimentos cuando no se cuenta con servicios, firmar, sacar espinas del dedo, etc. Siempre la llevo en mi cartera. Si no la llevas contigo no sirve.

Ich hatte vor x Jahren einmal ein Swiss Card Tool erhalten, ich glaube, ein Werbegeschenk einer Bank oder so. Schon damals fand ich es super. Ich kaufte es mir neu, und zwar in der Lite Version. Ich bin absolut begeistert!

Swiss army sent me 389 batteries which are too big for swiss card lite and are made for small swiss army knives....the swiss card lite requires a smaller CR1025 battery.
After buying 12 swiss army knives, a swiss tool and a swiss card...how is it possible to sell are product for which batteries do not seem to exist anywhere anymore?

Wrong batteries sent

Unfortunately the battery comes already in the card and was very weak...electrical and battery stores do not carry the CR1025 battery, Lowes and Home Depot  do not carry the CR1025 battery, tried ordering it online and get not in stock....SWISS ARMY CUSTOMER SERVICE promised to send me a battery two weeks ago.....guess they are out of stock.
I have two mid night managers and two other small swiss army knives with lights....getting batteries for them is not an issue....forget getting a battery for swiss cards

Me duro relativamente muy poco la guarde en la cartera y la cartera la llevo en la bolsa trasera del pantalon y al sacarla para usarla me di cuenta que estaba quebrada.la tuve que reparar yo mismo con cola loka y carbonato con una mezla de esas dos cosas quedo perfectamente solo que la estetica no es buena por un lado no me quisieron hacer valida la garantia donde la compre y solo quiero decirles que no la usen en la cartera si la van a traer en la bolsa trasera de un pantalon ya que es facil que se quiebre o se dañe al sentarse.

Se quebro mi swisscard lite

Normalement, je ne m'intéresse pas à ce type de produit mais je me suis dit : "Dans mon portefeuille, il m'en faut une !"
Elle rentre parfaitement dans les emplacements des cartes de crédit ce qui nous permets d'avoir toujours des petits outils sur soi.
Comme toujours, Victorinox a le talent de marier le pratique à l'élégance.
Dommage que la Lampe éclaire si peu et que le tournevis soit inutilisable car il n'a pas de manche.

Just bought one of these a month ago and have found it very useful ,when I remembered it was in my wallet lol.  The Light and scissors are very handy and screw drivers are usable in emergencies. The knife was not very sharp and nothing special. I would say this is great as a back-up for your key chain SAK or if you just want to carry a wallet. 

I modified mine with a Ferro rod that is housed in the tweezer slot. I also put a sharp edge on the flat spaces between the screwdrivers, to be used as an emergency fire starter.

I purchased this for novelty. I have found this to be well built and of sound material quality. it is comforting to know that I have all the functionality of a 58mm Signature SAK in my wallet.

Es una tarjeta que cabe en la cartera, por lo que siempre la puedes llevar encima sin ningín problema. Cuenta con muchas herramientas usables en el día a día. La lupa la hace difernete al resto de Swisscards al igual que la luz led, muy práctica, pero en mi caso no hace buen contacto y enciende débilmente (si se presiona la tarjeta da bastante buena luz)

I hated this when it arrived, I even printed the return label! I shoved in the cupboard and was too late to return it, I got it out of the cupboard to give as a birthday present and fell for it, it really is clever, I love it now, the magnifier is good quality, it's thicker than expected. If you're used to carrying a knife like myself you won't like it, it's huge, but it is useful, I've shoved it in my phone case. It has grown on me, but I really didn't like it at first. To sum up, it's good and quality made but a stupid shape and size. It is five credit cards thick.

Pour un cadeau d'anniversaire et ça a fait son effet. J'avais un doute sur les tournevis mais ils s'avèrent efficaces. Très facile d'enlever la pile pour la Led également. Led peut-être pas assez forte mais suffisante pour trouver le trou de la serrure. Je recommande !

Well strictly speaking its not a multi tool, but I purchased it for my wife who has grown to appreciate it despite her initial reaction of "why did you get me this?".

I only wish something better was in the space of the magnifying glass, it's pretty redundant given its size. But overall a great item.

the blade is sharp but small and the scissors are standard SAK design and very usefull. the pen is nice but wish it had black ink. the card is very slim and fits nicely in the card holder of my iPhone case

Packaged with the light on; what the heck. Received as gift from Amazon with the led light on. I will check light's usefulness after replacing the battery. This replaces an original model that I lost after 20ish years. I would prefer a toothpick over tweezers, which I never had much luck with.

Good for sticking in your wallet. I use the light and the letter opener (to open packages) most often. But the pen, scissors and screwdrivers gets used on occasion too.

Handy tools in a small format

I bought this in the Zurich airport and brought it on the plane and they allowed it since I was through security no one knew. It was weird that you are able to to that. Also, the Swisscard lite is awesome and the flashlight has come in handy in several situations. Definitely, recommend.

Great to have with you at all times.

I got this for my Dad, Mother, Uncle and Aunt. After trying one myself. Ground breaking new design, great set of tools. I added a "automobile cut and stick on" mirror on the back side and some reflective tape in front. The pen does not perfectly fit with the SAK modells that have this feauture. The grey top is different. Light is not that strong, but will help you find your way in an emergency. Please be aware that batteries may leak, change batteries every year to prevent this. The knife is a mere "letter opener blade" nothing you can depend on in a survival situation yet still better than nothing. Scissors are great, magnifier too and the screw-driver dish are the smallest they ever made. Basicly best for urban areas, as a sleeper in your wallet, comes with a needle. Carry a medium size pocket knife for a more solid back up. Clever little devil this!

Ok this product looks cool and is, but DO NOT buy it. I kept it in my wallet (I know extreme use right?) and less than a year later the case had cracked and it was falling apart. And this cracked happened while i wasn't even using it, so it is not like i abused the thing, i had only had the chance to use it about 8 times. No problem it has a life time warranty right? Wrong. Although its still sold on the Swiss Army's site they told me they no longer could fix it but they would offer me a 30% discount on a new purchase. Are you kidding me?!? This is a lifetime warranty on a product that failed while under NORMAL USE! and you want to get out of repairing it by offering me a discount? Not even a freaking credit for the price of the swisscard. First they charge you to repair the thing (if you haven't done it there is a mandatory $5 repair charge... to repair something under warranty...) then they try to get out of repairing it by saying they don't have it any more, even though its still available on the site! Honestly I have never been disappointed in Swiss Army before but buying this product was a HUGE mistake. Do not I repeat DO NOT wast your money on this product.

Diese Swisscard habe ich dank der kleinen Größe immer im Geldbeutel mit dabei. Sie trägt nicht auf und stört nicht dank der kompakten Größe. Zu den Features: Das Messer ist nicht ganz so scharf, stört aber nicht das es eh als Brieföffner genutzt wird. Der Stift schreibt super und kommt sehr oft zum Einsatz. Die kleine LED... ja, sagen wir mal so, für den Notfall ok bzw im Dunkeln das Schlüsselloch zu finden. Der Vierfachschrauber kam bisher nicht zu Einsatz. Die Schere find ich knuffig. Eine kleine Zweifingerschere aber sau scharf. Lässt sich gut mit ihr schneiden wenn man keine richtige Schere hat.Die Lupe ist ganz ok, im Notfall könnte man auch mit ihr Feuer machen. Alles in allem eine kleine super kompakte Swisscard die alles dabei hat was man in urbanen Gegenden braucht.

klein aber fein

I've kept the Swisscard Classic in my car for years. Very handy for minor issues and love the toothpick. Nobody wants to go into an office with food in their teeth after lunch, so toothpick useful.

The Lite version could have many applications. The magnifying glass could start a fire in the wild. The blade and scissors could create tinder for that fire. The light is not very bright, but I imagine it's used for finding keyholes in the dark or objects on a nightstand without waking a partner. I'm not sure if you can replace the battery at home. Sending it to be changed might be cost prohibitive, don't know. After that battery dies, the usefulness goes down to average. The four point screwdriver is a great idea, but I wish the Phillips heads were more pointed.

It's not a serious multi-tool or a 60 lumen flashlight, but for minor fixes and portability, it's pretty hard to beat. Plus it takes up zero space and isn't bulky like a serious muti-tool or a 60 lumen flashlight might be.

Would be an excellent gift for many people. Gadget lovers would like this. It's a permanent keeper in my messenger bag. And as usual, shipping was prompt, well done and reasonable.

Diese Swisscard lite ist inzwischen meine zweite. Die erste hat inzwischen meine Frau in ihrem Portmonee. Die Swisscards insgesamt sind sehr praktisch, da sie ohne Probleme in die allermeisten Geldbörsen passen und dabei die wichtigsten Funktionen für leichte Arbeiten abdecken. Insbesondere die bei diesem Modell verbaute kleine LED, die Lupe und der kleine Vierfachschraubendreher sind hier meine meistgenutzten Funktionen.

Need Change of design

I received this as a gift from my employer several years ago. I am not lying when I say I use it every day. I don't ever want to be without it. The only drawback is I got caught with it trying to get through airport security. I ended up removing the blade, and shipping it home via US Mail from the airport. Some time ago I lost the Pin, and recently I was using the Ruler edge to scrape the ice off of my car windshield, and slightly cracked the case. So I'll be looking to replace mine. Did I mention that I love this little gadget?

Use it every day

i carry this sucker in my wallet all the time, sometimes i even forget its there, until i need one of the tools. sturdy construction, magnifying glass works, flashlight is a little dim but it'll help in a pinch. screwdriver design is ingenious, it's one of the main reasons i bought this model. scissors, knife, pen (wish mine was black ink instead of blue), tweezers, and stainless steal pin are all straight forward proven products. i love this handy little guy.

Case broke very easily. Light bulb cracked. But on the bright side, it is the best thing I have ever had!

This is the best outdoor piece i have ever seen!

I bought one of these on a whim and after getting home and opening the package, I questioned myself as to why I really purchased this product but after a few days I found that carrying it with me complimented my other SAK's perfectly and completed them so nicely without adding any bulk to my pocket. I usually carry my larger SAK's on my belt and I don't even feel this little treasure chest in my pocket whatsoever.

Carrying this with my Tinker Deluxe gives me the added benefits of a pen, magnifying glass and light with an extra pair of smaller scissors as a bonus so I don't have to pull out the larger tool to get the little jobs done.

Carrying with my Tinker Small gives me an extremely light weight pocket package with the benefit of scissors, light, magnifying glass and pen.

Even something as big as my Cybertool 41 has benefited from the magnifying glass and light which it makes it better than having a Cybertool Lite plus I have a metal saw, wood saw and chisel if needed which the Cyber Lite lacks.

Oh and I have forgotten to mention in all these cases you also get the added benefit of a RULER which can actually be used for measuring, drawing straight lines for small diagrams, marking, etc!!!

Which other brand Multi-Tools offer any of these super benefits?

Having one of these will prepare you for the urban jungle like you wont imagine but as a previous reviewer has mentioned giving it a shiny/mirror underside will make it a perfect purse companion for the ladies or you could make a Swiss Card Mirror Model(hint hint)

I don't see myself going anywhere without it. Thank you Victorinox for another amazing product.

Best EDC companion for the Urban Jungle

This product is really great as one of my everyday carry tools. My daily work involves a few hours inside the office and the rest of the day I'm out in the field. So I need a very compact tool I can depend on where ever I go and this tool goes perfect inside my checkbook. For really small tasks, I also carry a rambler attached to my car keys, for medium tasks I include a huntsman in my belt bag , and for the heavier tasks I encounter, I also carry a swiss tool set with the tiny wrench and bits.

The Swisscard lite serves me well but I wish it includes a mirror which I think the underside is the perfect place for it. With a compact mirror, this tool would also go perfect inside every woman's handbag.

This product is very compact and beautiful, an additional mirror on the underside would make it the best.

A miniature Beauty ....

It is always great always having a spare pen with this product. I upgraded from another Swiss card and this model is sturdier and is well made. Although there is no toothpick and the light is a bit weak, the other features are really neat.

This has great features

Both my wife and I carry a SwissCard Lite, and it has been a handy little ultra-portable tool.

I would not recommend this as a primary pocket knife, but it has served well as a quick backup knife in my briefcase. The screwdriver tool in particular is a rather clever design.
