Carl Elsener Jr. won the Swiss Award in the Business category. This award honors his tireless efforts to ensure that Victorinox remains a strong Swiss brand and his commitment to Switzerland as a production location. The staff of Victorinox is very pleased about this award.Last Saturday evening, three individuals in different categories were presented with the Swiss Award during a TV gala. They had all accomplished something very special in the fields of politics, culture, business, show, society or sport. As the CEO of Victorinox and Delegate of the Board, Carl Elsener Jr. accepted the award in the Business category. The specialist jury thereby praised his continuous commitment to export Swiss values with the different product categories around the world.Carl Elsener regards his award primarily as a “thank you” to all his employees, who give their very best every day to promote the Victorinox brand, with great motivation and lots of passion. He also is referring a special “thank you” to his father Carl Elsener Sr. who dedicated more than 70 years of his life to Victorinox and is celebrating his 90th anniversary soon. No other product has been a better ambassador for Swiss world class quality than the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife – and that since 1884. Its Swiss origin is a guarantee for quality and reliability, but also for a pioneering spirit.
